every transition, every spiritual question—each call can be answered only by the one encountering it. the dying process, in particular, is a profound physical event and journey of the soul. k embraces the inherent individuality of each person’s path, and honors their unique beliefs, with an emphasis on encouraging their own intuition and spiritual experience.there is no one way—we are all one. whatever leads the collective to a higher level of consciousness leads us all.
“Ramana Maharshi said that God, guru, and the Self are the same. The guru, the true guide, awakens our own deeper being, or ātman, which is God itself . . . . But most of us, to get through our busy human incarnation and the profusion of forms we find in our lives, need guidance and help. Seeing the guru as separate from oneself is a way to approach it in steps of lesser truths. . . . Form after form of the guru is acknowledged, honored, and released, as the seeker sinks deeper and deeper into the guru, into the Self, as the space between them decreases. It is like two intimate friends sitting together on the bank of the Ganges, and after a while there is only the river.” – Excerpt from Be Love Now by Ram Dass & Rameshwar Das.
k’s ethos in providing spiritual and end-of-life support, is just that—support. you, as a seeker, are always supreme in your process of seeking. No teacher or guide has all of the answers. no teacher or guide can supplant or supercede your own emotion and intuition—they can only help to extract it from you. as an intuitive, k can assist to ease your fears, detangle your wishes and concerns, release attachments, express and process grief and emotions, make amends with threads that may be left behind, and make practical plans and accommodations for your transition that provide you and your inner circle true peace.
k believes in a radical approach to both living and dying—there is nothing set in stone about how to do either, and both are rapidly changing with a concurrent rise in technology and return to more natural and ancestral processes. tradition can be important to families going through a turbulent change, but it is just as easily bucked when the truth of the family’s needs does not require it.
regardless of the context, cultivation of sacred space is essential—k creates an environment where the dying person and their loved ones can explore and express their spiritual beliefs and experiences without judgment or limitation. K offers gentle guidance and support as individuals grapple with both practical and existential questions, finding meaning and purpose in the face of mortality or radical transition.
